Loba was founded by Kate, an entrepreneur from Vancouver, who's personal health and wellness journey inspired the idea for a beautiful, smart pill organizer to make taking vitamins and supplements an enjoyable daily ritual.

Our Role

Working in close collaboration with Loba, our role in this project was to refine the industrial design aesthetic and invisibly integrate electronics into the device. We supported with all mechanical design work, sensor selection, electronics design and firmware development to communicate with a mobile app and cloud server. Finally, we worked with trusted manufacturing partners to bring the product to market.

Intuitive Features

The aesthetics of the Loba pill organizer were paramount to creating a beautiful statement piece users would enjoy interacting with as part of their daily ritual. All enabling technology had to be invisibly integrated into the design.

On the Go

Another key feature was the flexibility to take supplements even when away from home. Individual portable containers were incorporated into the design, small enough to discretely fit into a purse or pocket.
