Our Role

Working in close collaboration with the teams at Velocitek and Card79, our role in this project was to take the high level conceptual design and perform all detailed mechanical engineering design to bring the product to a manufacturing-ready state. We also subsequently supported with prototyping and optimizing the design for manufacturability.

Optimal Viewing

In a competitive racing environment, crucial navigation information must be visible to all members of the crew. Multiple large displays ensure the compass is viewable by everyone onboard at a glance.

Designed to Get Wet

The Prism is designed to for use in wet, salty environments. A terrible combination for electronics. Many of the design considerations on this project revolved around keeping water out.

Why Work with Us?

Velocitek had a clear understanding of their core customers' expectations in a new product but needed the engineering and design support to develop something meeting all functional and manufacturing requirements. Working together, we were able to successfully develop and launch their product without the expense of hiring an in-house engineering team. Are you an entrepreneur with a unique product idea, needing technical expertise to make it work and make it manufacturable? Let's talk.

How can we help you?
